I was tasked to design a poster for the WKU Art Department’s Masque Costume Party. I drew a rough sketch in my sketchbook and then scanned it and worked from the reference image to create the illustrations. The design includes the Parthenon-like structure that is part of the WKU Fine Arts Center and a skeleton wearing a suit and posing. Since the theme is Halloween, I also decided to add jack-o-lanterns and a full moon with some leafless trees. The detailed natured of this poster was very ambitious for me, but I am satisfied with the final product. This project challenged me to work with fine details in a short time frame.
